Charlie The Chicken Rattle
Charlie always wanted to fly. He couldn’t understand why chickens had such beautiful wings but couldn’t use them. Puzzling also, was that he was blessed with long, soft, slender legs. What purpose did these serve, he constantly mused. One day, peering through Mr Pebblebottom’s window, he saw the hammer-throw on tv & it came to him... if he finds a little human to adopt him who had a firm enough grip, he might just know what it feels like to fly!
Unlike squeakers, which are unintuitive for babies to use without assistance, the gentle sound the rattle makes when babies hold or move it stimulates action-reaction learning, providing babies & toddlers with an instant reward & helping them to understand cause & effect.
